Dis is a request from my fren asking me to write on the differences between 'kawan', 'rakan' & 'sahabat'. Well...it is such a nice topic to be covered...[yg ni rajin la cover kn??topic utk exam?hmm..liat~]hehe.. Hmm I think, it is quit difficult to differentiate between these forms instead of the spelling,rite?? But...for me, dis is how I differentiate them...
"KAWAN" = orang yg kita kenali [secara amnya]
Contoh situasi = We r walking with our mom, suddenly...there's a guy/girl say 'hye' to us...he/she is sum1 dat we know...tp x rapat...then,when ur mom asked....sapa tu??? We do answered with..'kawan', kan2??Cumanyaaaa........dlm 'kawan' ni...timbul plak bnyk terms kwn....mereka2 itu t'diri drpd...kwn rapat, kwn biasa2, kwn susah senang, kwn baik, kwn terbaik selamanya [BFF] ...dan lain2 lg.Yang ni...it depends to u all la how to differentiate.
"RAKAN" = team mate.
Usually..rakan ni biasanya digunakan dlm aktiviti formal or dlm 1 community. Contohnya macam..rakan sekerja, rakan kongsi, rakan kongsi gelap, rakan jenayah, rakan sekelas, rakan sejawat dll. Dis is my opinion la.
"SAHABAT" = term ni meaning dia yg org slalu ckp is...sum1 dat really close to us, after our family...org yg sntiasa ada ketika susah & sng...sgt memahami kta...org yg bnyk b'kongsi suka duka dgn kita.So, people will use dis term utk org2 yg rapat dgn mereka...e.g 'dia tu la sahabat dunia akhirat aku..'hee~
Tapikannnn...for me...doesn't matter la sahabat...or rakan..or teman.,all of them started with 'kawan' kn? We make frens..then it developed to be 'sahabat' n 'teman' as well as 'rakan'. And paling penting...we don't need to emphasize on any of those terms to differentiate our frens. Sebab, dlm hidup ni...kita jumpa dgn ramai org n kita akan share sumthing with those people without realizing it. X kisah la rapat or tak...yg penting,there must be sumthing that we had shared..or share..or sharing together. For the person that go...don't hate, 'coz there is a reason they couldn't make it to be with us in the future...for the person that will come, accept them with all ur heart..n fo the person that stay...appreciate them...^^, peace~
